About Piano Lumière

Experience Piano Lumière, the first-ever two-piano candlelight performance in Pittsburgh. Virtuoso pianists Jimmy Liu (founder of Presto Piano Studio LLC) and Kevin Sun (Piano Professor at Duquesne University) will transform the chapel at Chatham University into a breathtaking sea of thousands of LED candles. Celebrate the holidays with virtuosic arrangements of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite and Vivaldi's Winter, plus the world premiere of Carol of the Bells meets Interstellar, a stunning new work for two pianos and pipe organ by Pittsburgh native Eric Barndollar. The evening also features organist Alaine Fink and an opening performance by talented youth duo Alex and Katie Ding.
