About Piano Lumière

Experience Piano Lumière: Halloween, an unforgettable two-piano candlelight performance in Pittsburgh. Join virtuoso pianists Jimmy Liu (founder of Presto Piano Studio LLC) and Kevin Lee Sun (Professor of Piano at Duquesne University) for a two-piano concert inspired by Halloween, presented in an intimate setting surrounded by thousands of glowing candles at Duquesne University's PNC Recital Hall.

This program features music written for two pianos, including Rachmaninoff's electrifying Tarantella, Saint-Saëns' evocative Danse Macabre, Bach's famously recognizable Toccata, Liszt's Totentanz in a rare version for three pianos, and more.

Set against a luminous autumn atmosphere, Piano Lumière offers an evening of compelling music, from beloved favorites to virtuosic masterworks. The evening also features pianist Nathalia Kato and an opening performance with talented students from Presto Piano Studio.
